Yes, there are gluten-free options, besides the vegetable and fruit stalls at the Canmore Mountain Market!

If you are in the market for some gluten-free alternative spirits, then the Badlands Distillery Stall is a must go. Here is a link to their website: https://badlandsdistillery.square.site/. Their spirits are corn based. The main distillery is in Leduc, Alberta. I don't drink, but I had a friend test some out for me and they loved them. They said they were going to buy again.

I was excited to come across the MiniViet Stall! Here is a link to my blog on my experience. They are very aware of a celiac's needs as I believe one of their family members is a celiac. The food is great quality and very tasty. If you are looking for some delicious Vientamese frozen food to help with meal prep on busy days, then give them a go.

My last stall of the day was The Cookie Jar. Here is a link to my blog about what I bought and how it tasted. I was very happy to find a gluten-free bakery at the market. Lots of variety. Everything I tried was good. Will be back for sure.

Every Thursday is Canmore's Farmer's Market day. Open from the end of May to the beginning of October. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm. It's called the Canmore Mountain Market. It is located in the parking lot of Elevation Place (700 Railway Avenue, Canmore Alberta), which is the recreation centre (pool, climbing gym, weight room and library). Parking is a nightmare! If possible walk, bike or take public transit.

The market consists of fruit and veggie stalls, food trucks, stalls selling baked goods, meats, preserves and drinks to name a few. Vast selection of homemade crafts, art, jewelery and clothing too.

Have you been to the market? What were your gluten-free finds?

Note: These are my personal experiences and opinions. Always seek out a medical opinion for medical concerns. Not sponsored. If sponsored I will always say so at the top of the post.
